Rev. Dr. Robert H. Craig, Head of Staff

Reverend Rob Craig has served congregations in St. Louis, Missouri; Albuquerque, New Mexico and Washington, D.C.  Rob has also served two non-parish roles: one as Associate Professor and Associate Dean of McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago where he is serving his sixth term on the seminary Board of Trustees.  He is co-author with Robert Worley, of the book Dry Bones Live.  In 2000, Rob became Executive Director of Ghost Ranch Education and Retreat Center, for which he remains a member of their National Foundation.  You can reach Rob by email at robc@fpccolumbus.org.

Rev. Peggy L. Casteel, Associate Pastor

Reverend Peggy Casteel is the staff pastor for families, children and youth.  Peggy has her Master of Divinity from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and has a M.A. in Pastoral Administration from Loyola University, New Orleans.  She has spent the majority of her ministry career working with children and youth.  She has served the Presbytery as Moderator in 2009 and has written for These Days devotional magazine.  Peggy loves mission and has led and participated in a multitude of mission trips including Appalachia, inner city Detroit, internationally in Mexico and with Habitat for Humanity.  She currently serves two boards, Turning Point Domestic Violence Shelter and the Preschool Board of First Presbyterian Church.  You can reach Peggy by email at peggyc@fpccolumbus.org.

Mr. Colin Andrews, Director of Music

Colin was born in Bristol, England and studied at London's Royal Academy of Music.  In 1993, The Royal Academy of Music, London bestowed an Associateship upon him in recognition of his distinguished performing career.  He has performed at leading halls and cathedrals throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia.  He is an outstanding teacher, serving as Adjunct Professor of Organ at Indiana University.   You can reach Colin by email at coandrew@indiana.edu.

Miss Jennifer McNamee - Music Assistant

Jennifer is a graduate of Furman University with her Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance and was a recipient of the Dean's Scholarship at Indiana University.  She has been the University Chancel Choir accompanist For Furman University Chapel and Chancel Choir, Organist and accompanist for St. Giles Presbyterian Church in Greenville, SC and piano teacher to many school age children.  Jennifer joins FPC in August, 2011 to assist Mr. Andrews as organist for FPC and director of children and youth choirs.  You can reach Jenny by email at jennym@fpccolumbus.org

Mrs. Tammy Pace, Financial Secretary

Tammy joined the Staff of FPC in March of 2009.  Tammy  has a background in Office Administration.  Outside of work Tammy and her husband Kevin have real estate properties they manage.  Tammy handles the payroll and accounting for FPC.  Tammy is glad to assist you with financial questions.  You can reach Tammy by email at tammyp@fpccolumbus.org.

 

Mrs. Tisha Terry, Church Secretary

Tisha joined the Staff of FPC on January 9, 2012.  Tisha spent sixteen years as an administrator for a non-profit association and, more recently, supports her husband in their family-owned business.  She is proficient in communication, technical support and office management.  You can reach Tisha by email at tishat@fpccolumbus.org.

John and Judy Frank, Sunday Custodial Support Team

John and Judy Frank provide the custodial service for FPC every Sunday.  John and Judy have served FPC since 2003.  John and Judy open the doors, make coffee and keep our facility clean and orderly.  They are here to help!

Rev. Sharon Williams Hanrattie
Sharon served as Pastor to 3 congregations in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania before coming to Columbus with her family in 2006.  She has served the larger church at all levels from Presbytery to General Assembly and now enjoys working in the local community.  After serving on the staff of Turning Point Domestic Violence Services from 2007 through 2011, she is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in School Counseling.

Reverends Eric and Norie Erickson
Norie Erickson served as a temporary pastor in 12 different churches from 1988-2008.  Eighteen months of that time was as Interim Minister here at FPC.  Since retirement, Norie spends her time reading, doing gluten-free cooking and baking, and being involved in various activities in the church and community.
Eric Erickson served for over 40 years in active ordained ministry.  Eric served churches in New Jersey, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Indiana.  Eric has also been privileged to serve as a teacher in a high school and at Tiffin University (Business Law) in addition to a stint as a practicing attorney.   Since retirement in 2008, Eric has enjoyed filling pulpits, serving as Interim at Bloomington First P.C., fishing, and traveling with Norie.

Reverend John McKune
John McKune was in business for about 15 years before attending seminary at Pittsburgh.  John served one church in Western PA prior to spending the balance of his career with the Synod of Lincoln Trail in Indianapolis as Associate Executive for Financial Services.  During his time with the Synod he also served as the Stated Clerk.  John later spent two years at the Louisville Center as Manager of Central Receiving Services.  John retired in April of 1996.  During his retirement, John served close to 8 years as Treasurer of the Presbytery of Ohio Valley and two years of that time as the Stated Clerk.  John now enjoys his work with the Lions Club and Habitat for Humanity.  John and his wife Margy both serve with the witness committee at First Presbyterian Church and tutor students in Nashville, Indiana where they make their home.

Reverend Cal Brand

A child of FPC, Cal was confirmed here in 1954, came under care of the Session in 1965, and on graduation from Princeton Seminary was ordained here in 1968. He has served churches in Newtown, PA, Chicago. McIntosh, FL, Fincastle, VA; and here at FPC. However, his primary ministry has been in pastoral care education. Following training in Philadelphia and Chicago, he was certified as an Association for Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor in 1971 and has supervised training programs in Chicago, St. Louis, Gainesville, FL, Roanoke, VA, Fort Wayne, Albuquerque, and Indianapolis. While in Chicago he completed the two year certificate program at the Family Institute of Chicago. During his time in Fort Wayne he completed a D. Min in Spiritual Direction, and he continues to provide Spiritual Direction. Though now a Supervisor Emeritus he continues to do supervision through programs of the Louisville Cluster for CPE and last year had the privilege of supervising a program for four months in Kenya which FPC helped support.

Cal is married to Donna, currently an active elder here. They have two children and four grandchildren. Both Donna and Cal are members of the FPC adult choir.
