SUPER SCIENCE FRIDAYS – (new and improved!!) 

Discover the scientist in your child! Each Friday will have a different theme and will include scientific experiments, hands-on exploration, discovery, and messy fun!  Themes include Our Super Solar System, Little  Paleontologists, The Wonders of Water, Clay Creations, Rockhounds, and more!

Age:        4 year olds

Class day/time:  Fridays 9:00-11:30am

Cost:      First Semester - $144.00 (12 Fridays) beginning 9-2-11 and ending 12-9-11

                Second Semester - $180.00 (15 Fridays) beginning 1-6-12 and ending 5-4-12

ROOTS TO READING – Strong roots grow a healthy tree!!

This enrichment program will foster early learning potential for reading and writing in a preschool setting.  Reading and writing are related subjects that reinforce one another.  Students will progress at their own pace, and will work on accelerated activities when assessed and ready, or work on reinforcement activities set at their individual developmental level.  The curriculum will follow the Indiana Academic Standards and will include letter recognition, phonemic awareness, picture/word association, word recognition, vocabulary development and more.

Age:        4 year olds

Class day/time:  Monday and Wednesdays 12:30-2:20pm

MARVELOUS MATHMATICS – Increase your child’s brain power!

This class is designed to improve your child’s mathematic abilities!  Students will engage in problem solving, pattern recognition, comparing/contrasting math concepts, “touch math” algebraic operations, and much more!.  Daily opportunities for reasoning, communication, connections, and oral representation will nurture a love of math!

Age:        4 year olds

Class day/time:  Tuesday and Thursdays 12:30-2:30pm

Cost:      First Semester - $236.00 (28 classes) beginning 8-30-11 and ending 12-13-11

ADVENTURES IN ART – Discover your child’s inner Van Gogh!!

Each week will be an adventure as we explore the 7 elements of design:  line, shape, color, space, form, texture, and value.  Your child will explore, create, and develop their own original works of art.  We’ll provide inspiration, materials, and techniques to expand your child’s creativity and knowledge of the world of art.  We’ll ignite your child’s imagination, develop artistic techniques, build fine motor skills, language, and encourage self expression through art!  Classes will feature painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, and more!

Age:        3 and Young 4 year olds

Class day/time:  Wednesdays 12:30-2:30pm

Cost:      First Semester - $168.00 (14 classes) beginning 8-31-11 and ending 12-7-11

                Second Semester - $216.00 (18 classes) beginning 1-4-12 and ending 5-9-12

Students that enroll in the afternoon classes are welcome to have lunch

with Wee Care before heading to class, normal Wee Care charges apply!
